Fecal Test Requirements:
- Frequency: All dogs must have a fecal test every 6 months to stay in our care.
- Test Details: The fecal test will be sent to a major diagnostic laboratory, where experts will carefully examine the sample for any fecal parasites. This testing is conducted by highly trained professionals to ensure accuracy.
- Cost: The cost of the fecal test is $55.
- Convenience: You may have the fecal test performed when your dog arrives at the resort. Our team will assist in collecting the sample and ensuring it is sent off for testing.
In the Event of a Positive Result
- Notification: If your dog’s fecal test comes back positive for any parasites, you will be notified immediately.
- Medication: Should medication be necessary, we will provide it through our partnership with Dr. Sarah Major. The cost of medication will be additional, and Dr. Major will work with you to provide the appropriate treatment for your dog.
